Salon FAD was founded in 2008 by a group of Professionals within the Beauty Industry who have strong passion, dedication and determination to stand up for the Hair Stylist/Salon Owners who have been so taken advantage of by those within the Industry who do not state the facts clearly and continue to Divert, making a huge profit and leaving out the most important asset of the Beauty Business… !! THE HAIR STYLIST!

Dixie is well-recognized with-in the Beauty Industry as a leader , entrepreneur, Coach and Trainer, Stage Artist and Motivator. Her passion and committment to the Professional Industry has carried through out for over 25 years. While holding the position for 8 years as Sr. Vice President of a Major Manufacturer, as well as a prior position for 5 years as Education and Show Director for large Professional only Distribution company, She Coached and Trained many highly recognized Stage Artists/ Business Consultants and Educators. After resigning from her last position as Sr. Vice President from corporate America in 2008 she founded SalonFAD, a non-profit organization to take action against those who continue to misrepresent the Professional Beauty Industry and to support Stylists and Salon Owners in having a voice and choice in taking back the Professional Industry.
