Being a Certified SalonFAD Salon is being a part of turning our profession around and setting your Salon apart from other Salons/Stylists who choose not to have an interest in Standing by the Professional Industry. 

Certified SalonFAD Salon Owners have a passion and understanding for what it means to have products represented in their Salon that are sold only in a Professional Salon.

SalonFAD and its members are fighting back “TAKING A STAND” against Manufacturers who allow diversion and do not protect the Professional nature of the Products you represent in your Salon.

SALON BENEFITS:

Education:

 Salon FAD Certified Salons will have the upper Edge on providing Educational Programs to their Staff and always creating a higher level of Client retention and revenue.     

  • All Salon FAD Certified Salons will be supported with continued Growth and Enhancement educational programs for all Stylists within the Salon as long as Salon is a certified Salon in good standing.
  • Salon will receive discounted promotional event tickets for Staff to any Salon FAD sponsored Show Events.
  • All Stylists will receive SalonFAD  Education certification

  • All Staff members will receive one Free tuition to the Salon FAD Academy of Design.                
  •  Opportunities to become a SalonFAD Educator/Artist

 

Marketing

MARKETING:

     SalonFAD will partner with SalonFAD Certified Salons to offer Consumer awareness in

What’s new and happening with-in Salons and promotions to build Client loyalty to build Salon recognition.

  • Salon will be recognized and promoted on Salon FAD website
    • Salon will have the opportunity to be advertised and featured in a special edition of Salon FAD magazine.
    • SalonFad will be involved with ideas and support with Salons collectively in their Local Marketing area.  (i.e. Fashion Shows, VIP Events, meetings)

Rewards 

SALON SPIFFS AND REWARDS:

SalonFAD Certified Salons will have the opportunity to be a part of recruiting  Members to Help fight against Diversion while receiving Spiffs and recognition for support.

  • Certified FAD Salons will receive quarterly promotional Product items for retail Contest with in Salon. 
  • SalonFAD Salons will be first in receiving Merchandising and promotional material in business building. 

 

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: 

  Salon FAD holds true to its commitment to the Professional Industry and only selects Salons with the same Passion and commitment.  All requirements listed below are closely monitored for the support of all who join the association and become a SalonFAD Certified Salon.

 

(a)    Salon must Carry ONLY non Diverted Products listed and approved by Salon FAD Board.   

(b)    Salon must be willing to follow all of the Salon FAD guidelines that apply to Products carried within Salon. 

(c)     Salon Owner must maintain monthly Salon membership fee of Salon FAD and be actively involved in Salon FAD sponsored Events and attend Salon FAD annual meetings. 

 (d)    Salon Owner must be willing to attend one annual Board Member meeting and be a part of the Decision making and guidelines of Salon FAD Better Business Practices of the Beauty Industry.

(e)    Salon Owner must be willing to promote and sponsor recruitment of SalonFAD membership.

(f)     Salon Owner must enforce all Stylists (Booth renters or Commissioned employees) to comply with using only Salon FAD approved products in Styling Station area.

(g)    All Stylists within Salon (Booth Renter and/or commissioned employees) must be SalonFAD Certified and participate in the SalonFAD certification Program.
